A powerful tool is still a tool
PowerOffice Go is strong, and has won awards for it. But it's priced accordingly: from around NOK 385 a month, and with payroll and modules it realistically lands at NOK 600–800 a month — plus a separate charge for the annual accounts.
And like every system: it doesn't keep the books itself. PowerOffice is often sold through an accounting firm, which you pay on top of the licence.
The sum few people write out
A capable system costs capably — but still does none of the work. Add whoever keeps the books and the picture turns.

The price on the screen isn't the price
A more powerful system doesn't solve the underlying problem: someone still has to keep the books. Counted with whoever does the work, the PowerOffice route quickly lands at NOK 30,000 a year or more for a small business.
